Drive and commitment: That's what it took Dorothy Briggs to push through multiple hurdles to create a power group for women in business. If you ask her, she’ll tell you it was hard-won and worth it. 

Dorothy's spirit of determination has always been a force to reckon with It shone through in her early years as an athlete, but she always felt driven to push the envelope further in her career. Owning and running several businesses helped her realize that every woman in business needs a creative and courageous mindset to survive, succeed, and lead. She decided it was time to expand on the mentorship skills that had always come naturally to her. Her spark ignited when she began building out womanition, a powerhouse networking and mentorship group for female entrepreneurs.

Dorothy overcame the challenges of building the Wominition brand with a feisty spirit. Early on, challenges threatened to railroad her dream. Never one to back down, Dorothy overcame the pessimists and doubts standing in her way and brought her vision to life. Since then, she’s built out networks of groups, mentorship programs, and an annual feature magazine - all of which support other women in achieving their dreams and overcoming challenges they face on a daily basis.

Dorothy discovered the “secret sauce” and it’s a recipe she’s excited to begin sharing with others. In 2018, she committed her brand and knowledge to another inspiring woman who has already paid back her investment and pushed the Womanition vision to another level.
